Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and
minimum 1 years Special Education Teacher experience required.

considered. Resource Room / Special Education Teacher 2025-2026
School Year Location: Saginaw, MI (K-12) Duration: March 2025 June
2026 (NSY Contract) This opportunity is for two onsite Resource
Room / Special Education Teachers to support students within a K-12
public school setting. The position primarily involves managing
self-contained classrooms, with caseloads typically consisting of
up to 22 students. Candidates should be prepared to work full time,
approximately 35 hours per week, starting around March 2, 2025,
through the end of the school year in June 2026. Responsibilities
include: Delivering specialized instruction tailored to students
with varying special education needs Managing caseloads that may
range from Early Learning (pre-K) through K-12 Collaborating with
school staff, families, and related service providers to meet
student goals Applying knowledge of Michigan Administrative Rules
for Special Education (MARSE) and IDEA federal regulations
Supporting urban students and their families with appropriate
educational resources Preferred qualifications: Michigan teaching
certificate with endorsements in Emotional Impairment (EI) and
Cognitively Impaired (CI) Acceptable alternative endorsements
include Learning Disabilities (LD) for Resource Room positions or
Early Childhood (MDE endorsement ZA) combined with another Special
Education area Experience working in urban school environments and
familiarity with challenges faced by these communities Strong
understanding of MARSE and IDEA regulations Interviews will be
conducted remotely, but candidates must be available to work onsite
