Qualifications/Requirements:
State of Michigan Mechanic Certification(s)
Valid Driver's License and a good driving record
Must be at least 18 years of age or older
Ability to lift sixty pounds, manual dexterity, extent flexibility (able to bend/twist/etc.), and near vision/hearing sensitivity
Available to work Mon-Fri from 7am-5pm (typically get out before 5pm on Fridays)

Special Features of being an Automotive Technician:
Examine vehicles to determine extent of damage or malfunctions; repair/replace/adjust as needed; test and adjust repaired systems to meet manufacturers' performance specifications; follow checklists to ensure all important parts are examined, including belts, hoses, steering systems, spark plugs, brake and fuel systems, wheel bearings, and other potentially troublesome areas; review repair or work orders to obtain descriptions of vehicle problems, and discuss work to be performed & future repair requirements with management as necessary; perform routine and scheduled maintenance services and ensure maintenance meets standards.
