  • Performance Driven BonusesManufacturing Supervisor Summary:To work as part of a team, focusing on the PADNOS flywheel concept. Ensuring each teammate has accurate information, clear direction, resources and authority to own their daily responsibilities. This position will require 80% or more to be on the floor with teammates to guide decision making.
    • Attain forecasts and performance targets for each cost center/asset.
    • Ensure Direct Costs and Monthly recaps are accurate.
    • Create action items for weekly PDCA. Drive action through support services to ensure resources are available. Prioritize with manager.
    • Develop recommendations to operations manager through the use of analysis and support. Leverage current platforms (RIMAS, LP Reports.)
    • Assist BI in automating all value-add reports to avoid duplicate work.
    • Train teams on available margins for each commodity processed and develop priority schedules (weekly/daily/shift) to assist sales function.
    • Mechanically inclined- ability to troubleshoot, lead preventative and predictive maintenance. Reduce non-scheduled downtime by 15%.Required Experience Be an innovative, strategic thinker and possess a basic understanding of analytical methods along with the ability to integrate and interpret data.Excellent verbal and written communication skills, strong attention to detail and exceptional presentation skills are a mandatory. A thorough understanding of MS Excel and MS Office is required. OutcomesGreat Place to work - Ensure safety always mindset and complete trainings on schedule. Invest in talent to train team for business continuity. Identify at risk areas and create plan to fill talent gaps.Innovate - Reduce Operating costs per pound by 5% plant wide. Work with management on efficiencies, metric reporting and development of new equipment/processes. Ensure depreciation schedule is accurate and mobile equipment is most cost-efficient option. (electric- shared units- conveyor belt) Lean Standardization - Maintain monthly operating budget within 5% of proposed value. Assist with inventory reconciliation posting adjustments and keeping variance under 1%.Customer Connections - Internal/External - Work with internal yards/logistics to schedule yard transfers to align with production schedules. Understand all customer specifications for material purchased and processed. Lead communications with accounting for responses within 24 hours on re-worked transactions.Manufacturing Supervisor Qualifications:
      • 3-5 years of experience in a manufacturing or recycling environment
      • 2+ years supervisory experience
      • Proven leadership skills
      • Working knowledge of machine operation
      • Knowledge in metallurgy and/or paper grades in the grading of materials
      • Knowledge of OSHA and Safety compliance requirements
      • Professional assertive attitude
      • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
