About Us: Hope Network Developmental & Community Services (DCS) provides for individuals with cognitive and physical disabilities and represents the roots of where Hope Network began. DCS has a broad continuum of care to serve people with mental and/or developmental disabilities with a comprehensive offering of services from licensed residential housing to in-community service to day program activities to outpatient appointments. Overview: The Residential Program Manager is a key associate at Hope Network whose primary responsibilities include: --- -Oversight and overall management of one or more Hope Network Residential homes--- -Hire, train, coach and mentor direct care staff so that consumers receive care consistent with their personal plans and goals--- -Responsible to ensure that facilities and residential services meet applicable licensing rules, accreditation standards and contract/funder requirements--- -Promote a home atmosphereSummary: ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES: This is not intended to be an exhaustive listing of job functions. - This job description in no way states or implies that these are the only duties to be performed by this employee. - The employee is required to follow any other instructions and to perform any other duties as assigned by management.1. -Regular and predictable attendance is an essential requirement of this position.2. -Manage the program in a manner consistent with Hope Network's mission, policies, and compliance with standards established by Hope Network, our funders, CARF and all licensing and accreditation standards.3. -Interview, hire, train, retain and support direct care team. - Responsible for developing and retaining staff through performance reviews, discipline, development activities and formal and informal training in accordance with Hope Network's Employee Handbook. - Respond to staff needs and questions. - Be a role model for good morale and promote positive work relationships.4. -Provide leadership to residential staff on clinical, staff and programmatic issues. - Hold regular staff meetings and utilize communication log to ensure appropriate flow of information.5. -Proactively work toward maintaining the highest level of care and quality - for consumers:a. -Implement established procedures to address routine issues as well as crisis management.b. -Review consumer's plans on a regular basis and provide on-the-job coaching to staff implementing the plan. - Attend and advocate for consumer at PCP meetings. - c. -Ensure that residential teams are properly trained and that opportunities are available for ongoing development through training and staff meetingsd. -Review all incident reports, sign off and forward to agency designee. - Review IRs and corrective action with staff and/or provide training to prevent re-occurrence.6. -Partner with Program Director to prepare, manage and meet budget goals for home(s) served. - Maintain program spending and track monthly financial reports to ensure accuracy.7. -Maintain staffing levels in accordance with required ratios. - Monitor and validate employee time clock/timesheet for processing. - Track hours used in the program to ensure staff have sufficient hours based on their status and that overtime costs are kept to a minimum. - Post schedule a minimum of two weeks in advance.8. -Participate and work as backup to support during times of crisis, as part of an on-call rotation or when there is a lack of staff.9. -Develop and maintain positive, working relationships with external funders, licensing and accreditation bodies, parents and guardians.10. -Submit all paperwork/records pertaining to home(s) correctly and submitted in a timely manner. - This includes but is not limited to budgets, invoices, licensing and accreditation standards, recipient rights and corrective actions.11. -Fully responsible to maintain facilities and vehicles in such a fashion to ensure a safe and clean environment for consumers, staff and the community. - Report maintenance concerns in a timely and appropriate manner.12. -Represent Hope Network to funders, families, guardians and external contacts with the highest level of professionalism13. -Fully responsible for home safety. - Conduct fire, safety and tornado drills in accordance with requirements. - Implement emergency evacuation procedures. - Participate in scheduled safety meetings.14. -Other Duties as Assigned.Addendum for Gilead Program Manager1. -Responsible for overseeing emergency admissions to the program, including 24/7 availability for direct referrals and immediate intake facilitation.2. -Responsible for completion of a Discharge Summary for each consumer leaving the program.3. -Responsible for facilitating weekly case conferences with coordinating agencies and other interested parties to ensure fully integrated treatment plans, service utilization that reflects medical necessity, and discharge planning that begins at the time of admission.4. -Responsible for regular updates to the funder, including requests for authorization.5. -Responsible for regular attendance to and participation in the Intra-agency Clinical Team (ICT).Requirements: Educational / Talent Requirements:1. -Minimum Education required: Bachelor's Degree preferred2. -Ability to work independently with flexible hours including occasional nights , holiday or weekends to ensure the highest level of care for persons served.3. -Demonstrated ability to select, train, coach and manage a diverse team and hold them accountable to internal and external standards4. -Proficient in the use of - computer equipment and Microsoft office5. -Ability to articulate and actively support the mission - and services of Hope Network to various audiencesWork Experience Requirements:1. -At least two years prior employment experience in the human service area with supervisory responsibilities.2. -Experience working with persons who have disabilities. - Experience in a residential setting strongly preferred.3. -Demonstrated leadership skills.4. -Ability to communicate in both written and spoken formats5. -Valid driver's license in accordance with agency standards. Shift: Combination 1st & 2nd Position Type (Portal Searching): Regular Full-Time Bonus: $1200 New Hire Bonus
