    • Advises IT senior leadership on matters of technical strategy.
    • Participates in the development of policies, standards and guidelines that direct the selection, development, implementation and use of technology within the organization.
    • Establishes current and long-range direction of technology aimed at keeping the organization on the forefront of change. Analyzes new technologies and runs competitive analyses. Promotes the interfacing and control of the organization's present technology and the dissemination of technological information throughout the organization. Fosters adoption and strategic use of information technology.
    • Performs a change agent role and provides leadership, vision, and direction for enterprise wide technology initiatives.
    • Ensures technology strategy is aligned with the organization's security technologies and policies.
    • Oversees procurement, contracts, and evaluation of multiple IT products and services for the IT organization.
    • Seeks to achieve the highest value service from vendors and evaluates vendor performance according to established performance metrics.
    • Establishes, maintains, monitors, and reports capital and expense budgets within corporate financial policies using accounting/budgeting controls, standards, guidelines, and tools supplied by the corporate finance function.
    • Establishes action plans and strategies to address IT workforce development needs.
    • Acts as general contractor within the IT organization to develop appropriate support for projects from various technology and service departments.
    • Creates a team environment.
    • Mentors managers and customers.
    • This job profile is not meant to be all inclusive of the responsibilities of this position; may perform other duties as assigned or required.What You'll Bring With You:
      • Bachelors degree in Business (or Management), Computer Science, Engineering or related discipline or equivalent work experience is required.
      • 10+ years of IT experience including development, implementation and maintenance of large-scale integrated systems across cloud and on-premise environments.
      • Significant experience and knowledge in Azure cloud architectures and deployments.
      • 8+ years of experience in project management and execution involving multiple major development projects.
      • 5+ years of management experience in which one or more of the following: Demonstrated competency in strategic thinking and leadership with strong abilities in relationship management. Successfully developed and implemented applications in new computing architecture environments using new and emerging technologies. Established track-record of managing technical staff through various life-cycle phases (cross-functional experience highly desirable). Demonstrated leadership of multidiscipline, high-performance work teams/groups. Managed financial resources to meet goals and multiple projects. Demonstrated high competency in project management and the execution of multiple large projects, including managing resources across multiple projects to meet goals. Developed efficient and effective solutions to diverse and complex business problems.
      • Ability to lead dynamically and energize multidiscipline work teams to learn and apply new skills/techniques to respond to business needs.
      • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
      • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and conceptual skills.
      • Strong teamwork and interpersonal skills. Ability to communicate and persuade at all management levels and thrive in a cross-functional environment.
      • Knowledge of retail business practices and operations.
      • Knowledge and experience in developing strategic information systems plans.
      • Excellent human resource management skills.Required
