Cherry Street Health Center is a Federally Qualified Health Center with a mission to improve the health and wellness of individuals by providing comprehensive primary and behavioral health care while encouraging access by those who are underserved. Working in an integrated team model, the Patient Registration Specialist will provide excellent customer service to our patients. A desire to work with an underserved patient population will be important. This is a full-time, benefit-eligible position working Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.

      • High school diploma or GED
      • Computer literate
      • Reliable transportation
      • Bilingual in Spanish and English preferredResponsibilities:
        • Greet, check in, and direct clients to waiting area; monitor waiting area
        • Maintain patient confidentiality and act with professional behavior at all times
        • Pull and file patient charts
        • Answers phones, directs calls and takes messages when appropriate
        • Maintain and establish effective working relationships while following oral and written instructions
        • Scheduling and confirming patient appointments to maximize productivity
        • Collect money and bill patient accounts, monitor status of accounts and insurance information as required
