  Lab Technician Position Summary:
  This position is responsible for ensuring proper plastics material testing and data collection in order to maintain proper specifications and quality standards of materials.

  • Performs quality checks on finished regrind
    
  • Probing and sample collection
    
  • Melt Flow testing
    
  • Density testing
    
  • Ash testing
    
  • Performs quality checks and resin identification on inbound materials
    
  • Communicates daily with leadership on all quality issues and current standard operating procedures
    
  • Data entry - recording of all test results
    
  • Warehousing of finished product once it has gone through the quality control process
    
  • Live real-time sampling from the production machines
    
    Lab Technician Position Qualifications:
    
    • 
      
    • Bachelors Degree is strongly preferred
      
    • Demonstrated knowledge of Microsoft Office products including proficiency in Excel
      
    • Attention to detail and accuracy
      
    • Ability to work with all levels in the plant
      
    • Teamwork attitude
      
    • Good oral and written communication skills
      
    • Ability to prioritize daily tasks
      
    • Prefer some knowledge and understanding of plastic resins
      
    • Prefer some knowledge and understanding of all lab equipment
