Registered Nurse (RN) | Medical-Surgical Location: Battle Creek, MI Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $1,970 per week Shift Information: Days - 3 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 2/9/2026 About the Position TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified Med/Surg RN in Battle Creek, Michigan, 49017! Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Medical Surgical Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 12 Hours (07:00 - 19:30) Experience: Minimum 1 year required, preference for 2 years in Med/Surg License: Michigan RN License (pending license acceptable with ETA) Certifications: BLS (AHA) (pending acceptable, must confirm willingness to obtain) Must-Have: Must be willing to work with a variety of staff (RN, LPN, Techs, etc.) Description: Local candidates preferred for this position. Candidate must be available for the entire first 8 days of the assignment. Floating to other Med/Surg units is required. Candidate will work every other weekend. The unit cares for a wide variety of patient types. General medical diagnosis patients are included. Specialties include gastrointestinal, urological, and gynecological surgeries. Depending on unit needs, candidates may float to different Med/Surg units. Patient care includes ortho/neurovascular and cardio/pulmonary patients. Surgical patients have diagnoses like GI, urology, hysterectomies, and mastectomies. The staffing ratio is approximately 1:5-6 for nights. Ratios may flex to 8 patients, but RNs will be paired with LPNs for support in these cases. Candidates should be prepared to work with a variety of staff across units.
