The Opportunity Seeking Hospitalist physician assistants and nurse practitioners. Current national certification, DEA, ACLS, BLS and PALS are required. Previous hospitalist/inpatient experience is highly preferred. Current MI state license is a plus. Candidates wanting to work in an academic setting with current residents desired. Providers will be cross credentialed at the following sites: Sparrow Carson Hospital, Sparrow Clinton Hospital, Sparrow Eaton Hospital, Sparrow Ionia Hospital, and Sparrow Specialty Hospital (LTAC). The Practice – A Multi-Site System Sparrow Eaton Hospital – Charlotte, Michigan Sparrow Carson Hospital – Carson City, Michigan Sparrow Clinton Hospital – St. Johns, Michigan Sparrow Ionia Hospital – Ionia, Michigan Sparrow Specialty Hospital (LTAC) – Lansing, Michigan Sparrow Hospital – Lansing, Michigan Only Level One Trauma Center and largest hospital in the region. Stroke Center of Excellence and Chest Pain Center. 733-bed facility with 45 closed-ICU beds. An average of 15 day admits and an average of 1-2 night admits. No procedures required; codes handled by ICU, RRT coverage. Vent management required. On-site lab and imaging.
