Position We are seeking a board-certified Gastroenterologist for a
40-day locum tenens assignment in Michigan, starting Mar 16, 2026.
This position offers Monday 7am to Friday 7pm on-call coverage with
no weekend call. The role focuses on GI cases, with ERCP required.

days Provider Type Needed: Gastroenterologist Schedule: Monday 7am
– Friday 7pm call; no weekend call Responsibilities and Duties
Provide on-call gastroenterology services, including management of
abdominal pain of GI origin and GI bleeding Perform Endoscopic
Retrograde Cholangio Pancreatography (ERCP) procedures Respond to
urgent GI cases as needed during scheduled on-call hours
Collaborate with medical staff to ensure high-quality patient care
Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient encounters
Additional Information Active Michigan medical license required
(IMLC accepted only if assignment is 60 days out and proof of LOQ
is provided) Board certification in Gastroenterology required;
board eligible candidates will not be considered DEA required at
time of start No malpractice history required for quick
credentialing Preference given to local providers as flights are
