experienced Registered Nurse specializing in step-down care on a
cardiac-focused intermediate care unit. This contract position

and outdoor activities. Key Qualifications & Experience Minimum 1
year of nursing experience; 2 years preferred, especially in
telemetry or cardiac units Proficiency in cardiac rhythm
identification is mandatory (passing an internal telemetry quiz
required) Certification requirements: ACLS, BCLS, and NIH
certifications Experience with cardiac drips such as Heparin,
Cardizem, Amiodarone, and Lasix Familiarity with oxygen therapy
(non-ventilator modes) and hemodialysis patient care Active nursing
license required before start date (pending licenses considered)
Schedule & Responsibilities Shift: 3 x 12-hour days (7:00 AM 7:30
PM) Every other weekend rotation; no call requirements Patient
assignment ratio approximately 1:5 Duties include continuous
cardiac monitoring, medication administration, and collaboration
with interdisciplinary teams on a true cardiac floor Adaptability
to float to like or lesser acuity units as needed Work Environment
Acute care hospital with 449 staffed beds Uses Cerner for charting
Dress code includes royal blue or white scrubs Magnet recognized
