Job Description Join Pride Health as a Traveler Phlebotomist at Grand Rapids, MI! This is a 3 months contract role (with high possibility of extension) offering a great opportunity for experience to excel in a dynamic environment. Role: Traveler Phlebotomist Location: Grand Rapids, MI 49503 Job Type: 3 Months Contract Possible Extension Shift Schedule: Thursday - Sunday 3rd Shift – 10:30 PM to 7:00 AM Hours per Week: 40 hours/week Start Date: ASAP Pay Highlights: $1500 - 1600/week (Based on years of experience) Key Responsibilities: Perform venipuncture, capillary, pediatric, and geriatric blood collections Collect and process clinical and forensic specimens following established procedures Prepare specimens accurately for laboratory testing Verify patient demographics and obtain patient initials/signature post-venipuncture to confirm specimen labeling accuracy Maintain complete and accurate documentation and records Explain procedures clearly and professionally to patients Perform daily activities accurately and on time with minimal supervision Maintain a safe, clean, and professional work environment Demonstrate leadership behaviors, confidentiality, and attention to detail Qualifications: Education: High School Diploma or GED required. Experience: Minimum 2–3 years of phlebotomy experience required Excellent phlebotomy skills, including pediatric and geriatric collections Note: Only Travelers accepted - Candidates above 50 miles are eligible. *Offered pay rate will be based on education, experience, and healthcare credit.
