Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: ICU - Intensive Care Unit - Discipline: RN - Start Date: 03/30/2026 - Duration: 13 weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, nights - Employment Type: Travel Opportunity: RN - ICU Med Surg Job Details: • Perform integrated pre and post-operative critical care functions using the nursing process • Assess patients for physical, emotional, psychological/social and family support needs • Organize and coordinate all aspects of patient care according to real and/or perceived needs • Evaluate patient progress by correlating information with nursing knowledge to determine if care plan goals are being met • Consult and collaborate with healthcare team members in planning and implementing total patient care • Work three weekend shifts per 4-week scheduling period (Friday and Saturday) • No on-call responsibilities • 2 years of SICU experience required • Prior travel assignment history preferred • Epic EMR experience preferred • Required certifications: ACLS (AHA), BLS (AHA) • Active Michigan nursing license required with LARA and/or Nursys verification • Skills checklist current within 1 year required • Two supervisory reference forms completed within the last two years required • All scheduling requests must be made at time of submission Facility: This healthcare organization provides comprehensive medical services with a focus on critical care and surgical services.
