Job Title: CAPSIL Developer

About the Role:

We're looking for a skilled CAPSIL Developer to join our growing team! If you have a strong background in mainframe technologies, deep understanding of life insurance operations, and a passion for solving complex business challenges, this is your chance to work on impactful projects that modernize legacy systems and drive innovation in the insurance space.

What You'll Do:

Develop, support, and enhance CAPSIL application components.


Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and deliver effective technical solutions.


Work on policy administration systems and batch processing jobs in a mainframe environment.


Analyze and troubleshoot complex business problems using COBOL, JCL, VSAM, and CICS.


Ensure stability, performance, and reliability of applications in production.


Support integration with external systems and ensure seamless data processing.



What We're Looking For:

5+ years of hands-on experience in CAPSIL application development and support.


Strong domain knowledge in life insurance products and operations.


Proficiency in COBOL, JCL, VSAM, and CICS on IBM Mainframe.


Experience in batch processing and policy administration systems.


Ability to understand and optimize mainframe data structures.


Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.


Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.



Nice to Have:

Experience with modernization projects (e.g., Guidewire, LifeSys, or other digital platforms).


Familiarity with Agile methodologies and tools like Jira.


Knowledge of SQL, DB2, and integration strategies with external systems.


Exposure to testing tools and release management processes.
