Engineer, you perform a key role to ensure the overall IT
availability across our data centers, cloud, distribution
facilities, and stores through data driven insights and automation
of IT service and operations management.
**This position offers either Hybrid schedule: Monday-Wednesday in
Grand Rapids MI office, Thursday-Friday remote; or Fully remote in
the Meijer six state footprint of MI, IL, IN, OH, WI or KY.**.What
You'll be Doing:
- Collaborate across IT departments to integrate systems and
process to deliver workflow automation through monitoring
tools
- Leverage ServiceNow, Dynatrace and other tools to ingest data
and identify patterns to proactively detect incidents
- Automate autonomous resolution for events though ServiceNow,
Dynatrace and other platforms
- Responsible for reducing Mean Time to Resolve (MTTR)
incidents
- Create, tune, and optimize self-healing automation across
network, hardware, cloud, and applications
- Serve as engineer/developer/integrator of ServiceNow, Dynatrace
and additional automation tools
- Create scripts, runbook automation,
- Support day to day administration, maintenance, and management
of monitoring tools
- Enable CMDB though Automated discovery and mapping of an
application and its infrastructure components (including cloud
services)
- Stay current of industry trends, monitoring products and
analysis
- Lead I&O data ingestion and analytics to create automated
reports and dashboards with insightful metrics
- Ensures monitoring products and integrations are functioning
correctly and works with owners to modify as required.This job

required.What You will bring with You (Qualifications):
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Computer Information
Systems, Business Information Systems, Engineering or related
discipline or equivalent work experience and technical training is
required.
- Minimum of 3-5 years experience with automation tools and other
scripting technology
- Experience in designing and building cross platform automation
architecture
- Experience using APIs and connectors to integrate systems to
ServiceNow, Dynatrace or additional monitoring tools
- Experience in designing solutions for reducing Mean Time to
Resolve/ Mean Time To Detect (MTTR/MTTD) for enterprise
applications
- Experience in working with Cloud and hybrid infrastructure is
preferredRequired
