Under the direction of the Manager of Learning & Development, the
Training Specialist has a keen understanding of company business
systems, industry practices, and processes. Utilizing that
knowledge, the Training Specialist will develop, coordinate, and
deliver training opportunities throughout the JX network through a
variety of methods including, but not limited to; classroom based
training, web based training, and one-on-one coaching. The Training
Specialist may also be tasked with performing various operational
roles (parts counter, service counter) in the dealerships as
necessary to facilitate learning, employee development, and company
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Develop, coordinate and deliver training opportunities throughout
the JX network utilizing a variety of methods including, but not
limited to; classroom based training, web based training, and one
on one coaching.
Educate, coach, and develop JX associates in industry and company
Conduct technical product training for parts personnel
Provide hands-on, in store, demonstrations of heavy and medium duty
truck parts through lectures, one on one coaching, presentations,
and other means.
Research, prepare, and maintain all product training lesson
Provide expertise and training regarding the company business
system and vendor resources
Train associates on products and services offered by the
Provide assistance to location operations as needed
All other duties as assigned.

High school diploma or equivalent.
Three (3) years of related automotive repair facility or heavy duty
truck experience preferred.
Experience in developing and presenting learning content
Must possess demonstrated skills in computer generated business
Valid driver's license required
Regional travel up to 75% with some overnight stays required
Dependable and reliable attendance required.
