As a member of the Supply Chain Procurement and Logistics team you will be part of a talented and experienced group responsible for developing, testing, enhancing, and supporting a suite of world class software solutions. This role will focus on SAP features (Purchase Order, Non-Stock Ordering) and integrated, cloud-based custom solutions that provide Product Recall, Non-Stock Fulfillment and EDI capabilities for our business. This role will also work with other package systems including JDA and Oracle Transportation Manager (OTM). The key to success in this role is a focus on quality, a desire to exceed customer expectations, knowledge of Agile principles, and an ability to manage change. This role is expected to collaborate with Product Owners, Application Architects, Business Analysts, Software Developers, and Scrum Masters in order to provide the right solutions that brings our customers the most value. The Senior Quality Engineer (QCE) is responsible for monitoring the project or support implementation processes, and reporting any quality related opportunities to assure the delivery of a quality product through adherence to the Quality Control Objectives (QCO's). It is also the responsibility of the Senior QCE to continuously improve the Quality Control (QC) processes and controls. What you will do: Attend Monthly Quality Control Engineer meetings. Attend monthly Quality Control Engineer training sessions. Monitor application requirements and risks with regard to test strategy and bring any issues to the attention of the appropriate entities. Assist Team Lead with defining resource requirements. Participate in the release management activities associated with testing. Monitor the development of test case catalogs, testing cases, related resting project documentation, and tools and provide recommendations for process improvement where applicable. Develop and maintain quality control metrics and controls. Provide timely updates to the Team Lead and Project Manager on the status of the quality objectives for the project. Conduct audits according to the recommended schedule on implementation activities such as: Software configuration management Continuous Integration Code review and automated source code analysis. Unit test case coverage and quality. System test case coverage and quality. User Acceptance test case coverage and quality. Performance Test case coverage and quality. Load and Stress Test case coverage and quality. Test Environment Readiness Release management Defect analysis and reporting Participate in Quality Assurance Audits Our ideal candidate will have: Five years previous analysis or software development experience or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience. Bachelor degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Good organizational and problem solving skills. Strong commitment to software quality. Proven analytical, critical thinking, and troubleshooting skills. Solid customer focus, teamwork, innovation, creativity, and relationship building.
