Job Description:
We are seeking a full-time NCCCO Certified Mobile Crane Operator
for work across the State of Michigan to operate 40-60 ton
cranes.

Responsibilities:
--- NCCCO (or equivalent) Certified Mobile Crane Operator.
--- This is a full-time crane operator position.
--- Based out of Grand Rapids, MI. Must live locally.
--- Crane operator to operate various sizes and classifications of
mobile cranes, and other similar equipment.
--- Perform work from standard operating to critical lift
procedures.
--- Must have the ability to follow verbal instructions and work
orders.
--- Perform driving responsibilities associated with the relocation
of mobile truck cranes to various site work locations.
--- Perform before-use inspections of mobile cranes and ancillary
equipment.
--- Coordinate with company leadership to determine proper crane
set-up and location.
--- Set up mobile crane in accordance with manufacturer's
recommendations and established site procedures.
--- Read, understand, and perform calculations in accordance with
mobile crane load charts including factors affecting hook load,
i.e., jib weight, wire rope, load block weight, quadrant of
operation, etc.
--- Perform mobile crane operations including hoisting, lowering,
swinging, or traveling with loads while ensuring adherence to
established site training and operating requirements.
--- Understand and comply with all company safety policies,
training, and procedures.
--- Read and understand plans, specifications, operators' manuals,
safety manuals, rigging tables, and load capacity charts. Visualize
two-dimensional drawings in three dimensions.
--- Fill out OSHA-approved Mobile Crane Periodic Safety Inspection
Record daily and notifies the supervisor of defects or
malfunctions.
--- Be responsible for your own safety as well as those working in
the area.
--- Perform administrative functions such as reading and
understanding operational manuals and procedures.
--- Perform other administrative functions as needed to perform the
job.
--- Perform other duties as assigned by management.
Qualifications:
--- Must possess National Commission for the Certification of Crane
Operators certification to operate Telescopic Boom Cranes Swing Cab
or equivalent Certifications with documentation and a Minimum of
one (1) years experience.
--- Must possess a Commercial Driver's License with air brake,
manual, and doubles endorsement, and be able to use a manual
transmission.
--- Must provide evidence of a valid Medical Examiner's Certificate
for the DOT Medical Exam.
--- Must be able to work overnight assignments across Michigan when
required.
