these qualifications will not be considered. A K-12 Social Worker
opportunity is available in Saginaw, Michigan, offering a contract
through the school year. This role involves providing critical
intervention support for students within a school setting, focusing
on special education populations across various grade levels. Key
Responsibilities: Deliver social work services to K-12 students,
including small group and one-on-one interventions. Manage a
caseload of approximately 35-45 students, primarily within
elementary grades, though middle and high school placements may
also be available. Collaborate with educational staff and families
to support student well-being and academic success. Maintain
compliance with Michigan Department of Education (MDE) requirements
and state social worker licensure standards. Participate in
assessments, develop intervention plans, and provide ongoing
support tailored to individual student needs. Qualifications:
Masters degree in Social Work from an accredited institution. Full
Approval or Social Worker Certificate through the Michigan
Department of Education, or a Social Work credential letter (SSW
310) with demonstrated application process initiation for MDE
certification. Valid Michigan State Social Worker license issued
through the LARA system. Experience working with special education
students preferred. Flexibility to work onsite in Saginaw
preferred; virtual candidates within Michigan are considered,
contingent on completion of state-mandated fingerprinting and a
nine-panel drug screen. Details: Contract length: School year
(NSY), starting as soon as possible through mid-June. Hours: 35
hours per week. Locations: Primarily onsite in Saginaw with some
virtual opportunities for qualified Michigan residents. This
